2. Description of Service
Lingush is a language learning platform that helps users learn European Portuguese through real podcast content with features including word-by-word highlighting, translations, and progress tracking.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Copy, modify, or distribute content from the Service without permission
- Use automated systems to access the Service (bots, scrapers, etc.)
5. Content and Intellectual Property
5.1 Third-Party Content
The podcast content available through Lingush is sourced from third-party providers. We do not claim ownership of this content. All podcast content remains the property of its respective owners.
5.2 Our Content
The Lingush platform, including its design, features, and original content (such as translations), is owned by Lingush and protected by intellectual property laws.
6. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LINGUSH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.
9. Account Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
